I am a skillful, compassionate and empathetic counselor with a passion to instill a positive change among individuals who may be struggling with a diversity of conflicts. I use various therapeutic techniques such as, that are unique to each individual. As a counselor, I use many different approaches to address each person's different personality and areas of concern in order to help achieve the desired improvement and growth in those particular areas. Some of the specific theories I like to use include but are not limited to Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Acceptance and Commitment, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I help to empower you with the skills to develop new thinking patterns and change undesirable behaviors through a variety of methods that work best for you. As your counselor, I seek to provide a safe and trustworthy environment for you to openly share your feelings and reach your goals together in a united effort.
I obtained my master's degree in Counseling from Webster University and completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Psychology. My specialties are depression, anxiety, eating disorders/body image disorders and addiction. I also have experience with emotional regulation, self-esteem, behavioral problems, ADHD and behavioral disorder in children, PTSD/trauma and mood disorders. I enjoy working with individuals ranging from school-age children to older adults.

My journey and struggles through life have made me the proud and dedicated counselor I am today. I am better able to understand what you are saying and going through a lot of the time. My own personal experiences that I have been through allow me to relate to much of what most of you will bring into my office.
