What have you got to lose?
If you are struggling with something, why not come in and see if it helps. You may be surprised. Typically, you get out of counseling what you put in. It is pretty similar to physical therapy, think of your mind as the injured body part. You have to put in a little bit of work to get it healed. There is no magic wand, if there was I would happily use it for you! But seriously, you owe it to yourself to feel better mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. Life is too short to be anything but joyful and living a happy life. I will give you 100% in our journey together because it is my job as your counselor to help you learn how to experience life the way you were intended to, but you have to be willing to put in some work outside of our 60 minutes together. The more you put in the better you will feel. Are you ready?
If you have had a negative experience with counseling, please don't let that keep you from getting whatever the help is that you need. I am sure you are familiar with the saying, "don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch." Well it is sorta similar to that! We aren't all like that, I promise! I apologize that you had that experience but don't punish yourself by not getting some help if you need it because of what happened in the past, you are only hurting yourself and probably making yourself feel worse by doing so! Counseling can be fun and is so worth it. Aren't you ready to start feeling better? I look forward to hearing from you!
A typical session lasts 60 minutes, once a week.
